Peter Choi

President

Peter brings more than a decade of experience at the intersection of health, AI, and social policy. He consults for UNICEF and has served as a delegate to the UN General Assembly, the World Summit for Social Development, and the International Migration Review Forum. At Mass General Brigham (MGB)/Harvard, he served as Director of AI & Imaging, leading the enterprise implementation of a $60M pathology AI diagnostic and a glass-to-digital pathology transformation initiative. He also served as Managing Director of MGB’s enterprise MESH Incubator, guiding cohorts of physician and scientist innovators through clinical validation, FDA strategy, and commercialization. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Peter was the first regulatory hire at The Ventilator Project, a nonprofit startup building emergency ventilators. He led its FDA Emergency Use Authorization work and later became COO as the organization grew from roughly 30 to 200 people. Prior to this, Peter has worked for Cleveland Clinic, UCSF, Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, Stanford University, and McKinsey & Company. His notable client base includes: Microsoft, GE, Siemens, Dove, Pokemon International, LEGO, Eli Lilly, Pfizer, Novo Nordisk, Takeda, Wellcome Trust, the Obama Foundation, Moderna, CVS, Canon, and NASA.

He received his bachelors in sociology from Emory University, a masters in neuroscience & education from Columbia University, a masters in bioethics from Harvard Medical School, and a masters cybercrime, cybersecurity, & international law through the United Nations Interregional Crime & Justice Research Institute (UNICRI). Peter has also trained in rowing for more than 14 years being selected as an alternate for the 2021 Tokyo Paralympic Games and won a bronze medal at the 2022 world championships.
