Our Story

“Democratizing Digital Public Health”

Born at MIT during the pandemic, evolving into a global movement for open-source digital infrastructure.

Four Core Pillars of Our Organization

Open Science

We are fully transparent. Every algorithm, model, and dataset can be audited and trusted, supported by a global volunteer community with code accessible to all.

Ethical AI

We design privacy-preserving AI systems that let users contribute to scientific progress without compromising personal data, while ensuring transparent, ethical decision-making and responsible governance at every step.

Network Science

We use AI-powered network mapping to uncover hidden pathways of influence—revealing how risks like disease, misinformation, financial instability, and environmental change spread across sectors and systems.

Societal Good

We develop solutions for societal risks like misinformation, pandemic spread, financial contagion, etc.

Why PathCheck Exists?

The Implementation Gap

In a world of rapid medical and technical advances, applied research is not being implemented fast enough to improve public health and the unmet needs of underserved communities by the for-profit sector.

The Graveyard of Tools

The healthcare industry is littered with applications designed to send exposure notifications. Many of these are being decommissioned or forgotten as reactionary tools imposed explicitly for COVID-19.

The Cycle of Amnesia

Corporate memory is lost with every change of leadership. Public health staff are not trained in the latest technologies, creating knowledge gaps that lead to reactionary deployments instead of proactive prevention

Breaking the Cycle!

The PathCheck Foundation will ensure that lessons learned are applied and that information is not lost between pandemics. We continue building robust, trustworthy, everyday systems that can be scaled quickly to provide reliable public health data.

Join the Movement

We are building the digital infrastructure that will protect the next generation. Whether you commit code, funds, or time—your contribution matters.
